SCORE's Impact On Small Firms
Article Abstract:
Businesses can get counseling and advice from the Service Corp of Retired Executives (SCORE). The non-profit organization was founded in 1964 by the Small Business Association which continues to fund the group. SCORE offers free advice via E-mail, mentoring, and workshops to help small businesses deal with starting and growing their companies. Accounts of SCORE's successful work with three small businesses are presented.
