Senate passes foreign aid bill
Article Abstract:
The Senate passed a FY 1996 foreign appropriations bill on Sep 21, 1995, by a vote of 91-9. The bill allocates $12.3 million to foriegn aid, 16% less than what Pres Clinton had requested. The House passed a similar bill in Jul 1995, and a joint conference committee is working on the final bill.

Privatization bill passed after revision
Article Abstract:
The parliament in Poland passed a privatization bill on Apr 30, 1993, and May 7, 1993, after making changes to the original bill, which was defeated on Mar 18, 1993. The law allows approximately 600 state-owned businesses to be transferred to investment funds.

Bankruptcy bill
