Smart way to structure an employee incentive plan
Article Abstract:
The bonus system and employee incentives are effective motivating factors to enhance productivity. However, the incentive plan should be simple enough and well-suited to the company but can be relied upon to bring both short-term and long-term benefits. Incentive grantees should be limited to workers directly involved in an area where performance can be properly assessed. The payout schedule may differ but management should always aspire for a significant change when handing out incentives.
