Use of pharmaceutical manufacturers' value-added services to build customer loyalty

Article Abstract:

Pharmaceutical manufacturers' ability to utilize value-added services greatly contribute to the establishment of loyalty among customers. Offering of value-added services, such as educational training, product handling and reimbursement issues, are found to be associated with customers' reluctance to shift to another product. Other services that center on the products positive aspects and advantages over other competing products help intensify customer loyalty.

Predicting total health care costs of Medicaid recipients: an artificial neural systems approach

Article Abstract:

Utilization of artificial neural systems proved to be effective in formulating a model that will predict the total treatment cost of a Medicaid recipient. Artificial neural systems eliminate several difficulties related with estimation, such as determination of an effective functional form. It also has the ability to utilize large data sets to formulate health care cost model.
