Determinants of satisfaction for entrepreneurs
Article Abstract:
The satisfaction of entrepreneurs in their business after three years of business ownership is estimated. Satisfaction may be perceived as a measure of performance and may be a determinant on the entrepreneur's decision to invest more, downsize or close. The discrepancy theory was used. Findings show that entrepreneurs focusing on non-economic goals gained more satisfaction than entrepreneurs with economic goals. Evidence was gathered that women achieved more satisfaction than men.
