Article Abstract:
Australian low-paid charity workers are being exploited by some doctors on little-known tax concessions designed to help them gain as much as $60,000 as tax-free benefits each year. These act as tax charity for charity workers and medicos, but doctors with a substantial tax break are threatening to quit public hospitals due to rising cost of indemnity insurance for medical practitioners.
