Consumers can now obtain aerial and satellite images once available only to military and espionage agencies. Firms like GlobeXplorer Inc. and others have amassed databases of satellite imagery which can be accessed through their Web sites. GlobeXplorer's high-resolution images can be obtained by consumers without having to use special software other than a Web browser.
