An analysis of how stories can be used in the management process to help facilitate and explain organisational change. Stories can be usefully used to get people to explore values and get them involved in the decision-making process; to get people to examine their assumptions and beliefs; to help develop support and commitment; to provoke discussion and challenge the orthodox; and to generate ideas.
