Telstra's treasure trove of value
Article Abstract:
The soon-to-be-privatized Australian telephone company Telstra is in good financial shape: it forecasts a net profit of A$2.8 billion for 1997/98. As Telstra shares will be offered in the US, the healthy net profit is harbinger of Telstra's ultimate success as a publicly traded company. Telstra stock is sure to rise above the initial public offering price of $4 per share. An overview of the Australian telecommunications company is presented.

Article Abstract:

Ralph is likely to mean better business behavior
Article Abstract:

Many more accountants will be needed to prepare financial returns to comply with the goods and services tax law as well as other proposed changes.
