An analysis of the workforce in Australia reveals that almost 48% is in the age group of 55 to 64, implying that once the old guards retire there will be a severe shortage of skilled labor in the country. While Australia is better placed in this regard when compared to countries like Britain, USA and New Zealand, it still must find a solution to the impending skill shortage.
