The high price of loyalty

Research by McKinsey & Company has found that more than half of the top US and UK retailers offer loyalty programs to their customers, and that these programs are popular. With the economic slowdown, retailers need to continue to provide incentives to keep customers loyal, but the programs need to be financially viable to the retailers in order to make them worthwhile.

Buying groups deliver discounts
