The impact of a company's business strategy on its technological competence, network competence and innovation success
Article Abstract:
A basic model describing the impact of technological and network competencies on a company's innovation success is developed. The results of an empirical test of the model using a database of 308 German companies suggest that a company's technological strategy supports the development of both network and technological competencies.

Article Abstract:
The underlying reasons behind a firm's ability to build up and use technology-oriented inter-organizational relationships, which give a competitive advantage, are studied. Also, the four organizational antecedents, which have an impact on a company's network competence, are discussed.
