Australian Prime Minister John Howard's brother, Stanley Howard, is a renowned company chairman and director of more than twenty companies in Australia. Following a career in law, Howard pursued the path of company director. Several of the companies where he is a board member are reporting losses and are struggling. He maintains that he has no conflicts of interest among his dealings.
