The new I.T. priorities
Article Abstract:
Survey by BRW 1000 on Australia's 50 largest companies indicates that 22 were likely to spend more on technology in 2005 than the previous year; only 12 were to reduce their spending in that area. The most popular areas for spending included security, transfer of voice communications to data networks and wireless and mobile technology. The issues that these companies were less likely to concentrate were outsourcing services or moving them overseas.
