Innovation spurs growth and growth spurs profits. The factors that will inspire Australian companies to innovate in 2006 are discussed. A method of analyzing the value of innovations is likely to evolve in 2006 and such value will become an integral part of the share price of the company. The skills and attitudes required for innovations are also likely to undergo changes.
