The organization of exporting activities: relationships between internal and external arrangements
Article Abstract:
A study was made on the micro-internationalization of small- and medium- sized Italian exporters. Since administrative arrangements for exporting are deemed significant in the process of internationalization, these were analyzed in consideration of the internal structure for exporting and the external organization. The study found that the degree of formalization of internal exporting arrangements shows the firm's commitment to internationalization. In addition, internal arrangements and international commitment are dependent on the nature of the relationship between the exporting firm and its foreign intermediaries.

Managerial perceptions of the adequacy of export incentive programs: implications for export-led economic development policy
Article Abstract:
Successful export development policies are conditioned by government trade incentives and managerial awareness of such programs. This relationship is examined in the case of Turkey's export incentive program. It is shown that awareness was influenced by a company's ability to enter export programs. In addition, such awareness was affected by export interest levels, export opportunities and firm size.
