The risk concept of entrepreneurs reconsidered: new challenges to the conventional wisdom
Article Abstract:
A method for measuring risks associated with starting new ventures based on specialized knowledge is presented. Traditional method of calculating such risks do not take into account information asymmetry and rent appropriation. Consequently, under traditional methods, risks for start-ups seem higher.
