The strategic influence of newly hired executives
Article Abstract:
Executive migrations influence the performances of business organizations in terms of market competition where the newly hired executive's former firm excelled. Migrating executives infuse knowledge, expertise and strategies gained from their former firms. Although the size of the previous firm is not related to the executive's influence on the new firm, executives of large firms do not necessarily possess greater expertise. Also, executive influence may not contribute to an organizational change if the new firm's top management is not open to new ideas influenced by the hired executive.

Three Coca-Cola perspectives on international management styles
Article Abstract:
European managers have been characterized as investment-driven, people-focused and tolerant of dialogue and diversity. American managers are expected to be more focused on trading, contractual procedures and ethnocentrism. The US is considered a world leader in field of diversity management compared to their European counterparts. However, Europeans are identified as less management-fad-driven than Americans. These differences are conditioned primarily by the degree of integration into international trade competition.
