Toiletries/cosmetics industry
Article Abstract:
Innovative cosmetics and toiletries companies still have good US prospects in 1998 in spite of private labels, value-conscious consumers, shelf-space problems, and lackluster retailing. The industry also has opportunities in the foreign markets outside of the US, Japan, and Europe due to changing demographics and economies. Companies with global distribution, good market shares, and strong franchises offer the best opportunities for investors.
