Time management...or learning how to say no
Article Abstract:
The keys to managing time efficiently are planning and organizing. Interruptions should be managed so that they are as brief as possible and quickly resolved. Learning to control crises will eliminate much of the time wasted by having 'put out fires.' Preventing or discouraging distractions also saves time. Specific techniques for managing time include: making the most of unexpected time; perfecting the art of dictation; reserving time to be alone; spending leisure time on leisure time activities in order to relax; and learning to say no to unreasonable demands in an acceptable manner.
