Training: why bother?
Article Abstract:
Companies investing in training need to be clear about what their goals are and what they are trying to achieve before they start training their staff. Trainers need to communicate to managers what can be achieved through proper training and managers must ensure that the workplace can utilize the skills the employees have gained through training. They must also take care that other staff do not feel marginalized if they have not had similar training. Both clients and trainers need to work together to make the best use of any training programme.

An organisational culture change
Article Abstract:
The most significant challenge associated with implementing organizational change is ensuring that the necessary managerial and behavioural changes take place. Outside consultants will find it very hard to implement organizational change unless they have very strong support from an influential person within the organization.
