Transition and development of innovation capacities in Hungary
Article Abstract:
The current scientific innovation and technological strategies in Hungary are examined within the context of a national innovation system. This analysis is based on three premises. One presupposes that the transition is affecting the national innovation system, concurrently influencing 'destruction' and 're-orientation.' The second premise holds that the transition has an impact as a whole on the elements usually tackled independently in discussions of the national innovation system. Lastly, the transition is presently more counterproductive at the second level of the national innovation system.
