Under which Shell?
Article Abstract:
Oil giant Shell in Australia operates under two stakeholders, with the Royal Dutch controlling the 60% of the group and Shell Transport and Trading controlling the other 40%. The split also divides Shell's operation into an oil exploration and production business and a refining and marketing business. The financial reporting is also in the form of two sets with two different accounting standards being used. The two kinds of financial reports of the Shell's divisions have put the company into controversy over its pre-tax profit reports.

Why BHP is a hot stock
Article Abstract:
Analysts are not united about Broken Hill Proprietary Company Ltd's future prospects. For example, stockbroker Ord Minnett believes the petroleum company could be worth as much as $22.50 per share in the long-term, which is a good jump from its recent price of $17 per share. Such speculation about the company's prospects appear to be fueled partly by the sense that Asia is recovering. Other analysts believed that the company remains overpriced and that is growth rate will not be able to meet the expectation of the market.
