Variable organizational risk preferences: test of the March-Shapira model
Article Abstract:
The present study provides initial empirical tests of the March and Shapira model of manager's risk preferences using organizational data. The variables affecting risk and the sizes of these effects differ across performance categories with poor-performing organizations show increased risk as they near bankruptcy, conclude the authors.

The influence of founding team company affiliations on firm behavior
Article Abstract:
An argument that founding team composition, in particular, members' prior company affiliations, shapes new firm behaviors is presented. Firms with founding teams whose members have worked at the same company engage in exploitation because they have shared understanding and could act quickly.
