What makes information workers productive
Article Abstract:
Analyzing and quantifying productivity in knowledge-based jobs is difficult compared to jobs with quantifiable products. Technology use, diverse networks and access to new information all enhance productivity. The use of multi-tasking as an aid in increasing and developing productivity is also discussed.

Why VIPs shouldn't get the best tech support

A study conducted by Unisys Corp. showed that customer service agents, salespeople and other field service personnel requires the best information technology support. The current practice of allocating the best IT support to senior and top management executives may endanger the company's revenues.
