Spillovers and governance: An analysis of knowledge and reputational spillovers in information technology
Article Abstract:
The main aim of the study conducted is to integrate transaction cost theory and the knowledge-based view of the firm in order to explore how firms govern transactions that involve spillovers, which can be defined as benefits or costs that accrue to one or both of the parties involved. Both kinds of spillovers such as positive reputational spillovers and negative knowledge spillovers were examined.
