... and for Baltimore Washington International
Article Abstract:
Maryland Gov Parris N Glendening has launched an improvement program for Baltimore-Washington International Airport at a total cost of $1.3 billion. The improvement plan is to prevent congestion at the airport, where passenger traffic is expected to grow from 17.4 million in 1999 to 30 million in 2010. The Maryland Aviation Administration, which is funding the program, plans to build 7,000 extra parking spaces and expand concourses A and B.
