A battle of nerves
Article Abstract:
The anthrax attacks on the US may be worrying, but they show how weak the position of the al-Qaeda terrorist group is, if this group is responsible for the attacks. The anthrax attacks also make it even more vital that Afghanistan's Taliban regime be ousted and Osama bin Laden defeated.

The patient accumulation of successes
Article Abstract:
The US-led international fight against terrorism may not be over yet, but it has shown that the US can take effective military action without being arrogant. The US now needs to build on these successes and to show a more co-operative approach towards areas including diplomacy.
