A checklist for event planners
Article Abstract:
Tips on planning a special event as a public relations tool are presented. The event's purpose should first be defined, whether to educate guests, raise funds or improve public relations. A guest profile should be compiled in order to determine the kind of venue, entertainment and guest speakers appropriate to the event. The event's atmosphere should be decided, whether it is going to casual, elegant or interactive. An event's budget should be determined while not overlooking the event's purpose.
