A continuing source of innovation in concrete
Article Abstract:
Madge Networks has reached a pre-let agreement on the former British Cement Association Site in Wexham Springs, England. The site, which has been redeveloped by Lynton, covers 10,693 sq mt. It now offers four main office and research buildings. There are a number of examples of the innovative use of concrete in construction, especially pre-cast concrete eaves units. This is appropriate, given the history of the site, which was also the headquarters of the Cement and Concrete Association for more than 35 years.
