A long hard grind?
Article Abstract:
Yorkshire's economy has remained stronger than that of many other parts of the UK over recent years, and is therefore unlikely to experience the same degree of improvement as other areas over the next few years. This will have an impact on developments for the region's venture capital market. Leeds will benefit from its strength as a national distribution centre, and prospects seem positive. However, the relative weakness of the region's retailing and service sectors may cause problems.
