A note on the paper "Resource-constrained project scheduling: notation, classification, models and methods" by Brucker et al
Article Abstract:
Research describing project scheduling problems is examined. In particular a critical analysis of classification schemes compatible with machine scheduling proposed by Brucker et al. is presented.

Progress payments in project scheduling problems
Article Abstract:
The unconstrained project scheduling problem with discounted cash flows is studied where the net cash flows are assumed to be dependent on the completion times of the corresponding activities. The ever-growing amount of research concerning the financial aspects in project scheduling in which cash flows are time-dependent is given.

A branch-and-bound procedure for the resource-constrained project scheduling problem with generalized precedence relations
Article Abstract:
A branch and bound procedure is developed for the resource constrained scheduling problem with generalized precedence relations and evaluation results show the procedure to be effective in reducing search time and nodes in the search tree. The approach is also generalizable and applicable to a general class of scheduling problems and allows for varying resource requirements and availabilities, mandatory activity overlaps and multiple projects.
