Agenices praise the pitch process
Article Abstract:
Most Canadian advertising agencies praised the way Rogers Communications Inc conducted its agency review in May 1999. Even agencies that vied for the Rogers account said that the Rogers review was very fair as compared to that of Bell Ontario which was strongly criticized even by the Institute of Canadian Advertising. The presence of top Rogers executives, including the company's president and CEO Ted Rogers, during agency presentations appeared to be main factor that spared Rogers from the type of critcisms fired at Bell.
