A whale of an idea
Article Abstract:
The US ban on commercial whaling threatens the international structure of free trade through its emphasis on cultural values rather than scientific truth. It violates most multilateral international trade agreements, which explicitly exclude moral and cultural notions from the valid grounds for such bans. Other countries could, with equal validity, say cows must not be eaten, or that all animal life deserves complete protection. The US does not even apply its ban equally, encouraging native Alaskans to hunt whales.

Buying the brochure idea
Article Abstract:
Creating an instant impression on a potential client requires firms to produce unique, eye-catching and informative marketing brochures. Any marketing document must accurately reflect the ethos of a company, making the reader aware of the potential benefits in employing a particular firm. Words and images can create a strong impact if used sparingly and with wit. Potential clients need to be inspired within the first few seconds of reading a brochure, therefore immediate impact is imperative.
