AUSTRIA: RSL COM EXPANDING SERVICES
Article Abstract:
RSL Com, the Austrian Eisenstadt-based subsidiary of the international telecoms group, says that from autumn 2000 it will offer clients the entire telephone service so that they can terminate their contracts with Telekom Austria. A few months ago RSL Com launched a test with directional radio, which will allow the company to offer new services such as high-speed data communication. Tele.ring was the first company to cover the last mile in Austria. It connected the first client to its own network in Graz, after having installed its own fibreoptic cables at an exchange of Telekom Austria.
