Aberdeen's stodgy tradition pays off in Singapore
Article Abstract:
United Kingdom-based Aberdeen Asset Management's Singapore Equity Fund has ranked as one of the best-performing Singapore funds since it was launched in late 1997 because of its 49% return in the past three years overall, while other Singapore equity funds have posted an average return of 30%. Aberdeen's success with its Singapore fund is largely based on its conservative stock-picking approach. The performance of the fund and select holdings of the fund are discussed and tabulated.
