Aer Lingus to proceed with IPO

Aer Lingus Group PLC of Ireland is continuing with an initial public offering valued at 800 million Euros to 1 billion Euros despite fears of terrorism. The airlines carrier is partly state owned and the Irish government has plans to divest approximately 60 percent of the 85.1 percent stake it owns.

Ryanair raises stake in Aer Lingus to 25%

Elan Corp. pays money to extend debt deadlines

Elan Corp. has paid up to $2.1 million (1.9 million euros) to some lenders in order to extend some major debt obligations. It is the first time that Elan's lenders have set a price for the extension.
