Article Abstract:
The consortium of three Italian banks and Finnish Ahlstr m Paper Group will buy the Italian Ascol paper mill. According to Ahlstr m, the change of ownership will secure the continuance of the mill's operations as supplier of printing paper and one-side coated packaging paper. The new owners are planning investments to strengthen the market position of the mill. Ahlstr m owns 40% of the company and the Italian banks a total of 60%.
