Airbus gets order for 41 jets from Lufthansa, Swiss unit

Airbus S.A.S. has received an order from Deutsche Lufthansa AG for 41 new aircraft, consisting of 30 A320 planes for Lufthansa itself and nine A330-300 and two A320 planes for its Swiss International Air Lines AG division. Financial terms were not disclosed. Lufthansa's planes will enter service in 2011, while Swiss International's A330-300s are slated for 2009 and its A320s for 2011.

China Airlines to buy Airbus A350s
Article Abstract:
A letter of intent was signed by China Airlines Ltd. for purchasing 14 A350 aircraft from Airbus S.A.S., with an option for six more aircraft. China Airlines, Taiwan's biggest carrier, plans to begin using the aircraft in 2015. List prices indicate that 20 aircraft would cost approximately $4.6 bil, but neither Airbus nor China Airlines disclosed the actual price.
