Airlines add planes as travel fears ease

Non-U.S. airlines are seeing increased traffic as the effects of the 2003 Iraqi war and the SARS disease began to fade. Airlines have resumed plane deliveries which had been postponed by the war and by the disease.

Singapore Airlines reports loss as SARS reduces travel in Asia

Singapore Airlines posted a 312 million Singapore dollar (155.1 million euros) net loss for the 2003 fiscal first quarter. The carrier was hurt by the outbreak of the SARS disease in Asia.
