The Civil Aviation Authority of China has unveiled a plan to restructure the airline industry, leaving China Southern as the largest carrier in the country. China Southern will be combined with China Xinjiang Airlines and China Northern Airlines, while China Eastern will be linked with China Yunnan Airlines and China Northwest Airlines.
