Airport privatisation gaining altitude in US
Article Abstract:
Airports in Puerto Rico, San Diego, and Newburgh, NY are in the process of privatizing their operations. The airports' privatization efforts are a result of legislation, adopted in 1996, which led to the creation of a Pilot Programme. Additionally, it appears that airlines may be more accepting of airport privatizations than they have in the past.
