Alitalia delays decision on choosing a partner
Article Abstract:
Linee Aeree Italiane S.p.A. (Alitalia) has delayed a decision regarding a partnership with either the major international carrier Air France KLM S.A. or Italy's smaller carrier Air One S.p.A. The move may enable the Italian government, which owns 49.9% of Alitalia, to avert a strike, as unions want to evaluate proposals from both carriers before a deal is made.
