Allocating assets
Article Abstract:
Three fund managers have updated their recommendations for two imaginary Southeast Asian investors, aggressive and moderate. Elisabeth Scott of Schroders Asia advises buying bonds, especially US Treasuries, as US rates peak and the dollar strengthens. Jardine Fleming's Margrit Williams likewise suggests US Treasury Bonds, but thinks some Asian equity markets are ready for an upswing. V-Nee Yeh of Value Partners predicts that the market for bonds from less-developed countries will rally, as will Hong Kong's stock market.
