An inter-war oddity with educational appeal
Article Abstract:
Dorich House, a Grade-II listed building, is being restored in Kingston, England. The house was originally built for Dora Gordine, Russian sculptor. It has been empty since 1991. Kingston University will use the restored house for education. It is being restored by David Brown and Partners, architect, and should be completed in early 1996.

Article Abstract:
The question of whether it is necessary for adjudicators to be independent as well as impartial is a subject of much debate. A case study is used to extend the argument to experts as well, although courts accept the fact that it is getting increasingly difficult to find experts who are wholly independent of the parties to the case.
