Berlin's new Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, south of the Brandenburg Gate, is an undulating field of concrete stelae, designed by Eisenman Architects and Buro Happold. Opened on 10 May 2005, it is dedicated to the Jewish victims of the National Socialist reign of terror and its location in the heart of Berlin's newly created parliament and government district signifies a declaration of historical responsibility underlined by the memorial open form, allowing for personalized, commemoration and mourning.

O'Mahony Pike Architects' Cedar Brook housing scheme combined speed and quality to provide modern, high-standard homes, which is similar to the vintage 1950s children's building toy Baco. It is a high-density scheme of three and four storeys, comprising 376 apartments, town houses and duplexes arranged in 90m-long terraces, providing residents with high standard, modern homes in an acceptable level of open space system.

A report on the new Archer Block complex at North East Worcestershire College's Redditch campus, incorporating a state-of-the-art learning resource center that was redesigned by Birmingham-based D5 architects is presented. The changes made by D5 to reshape the campus, including the new steel and glass canopy and other features that integrate the new building to the existing one are outlined.
