A lifetime ago: Kashmir

Ever since Jammu and Kashmir acceded to India the region has been fought over. India and Pakistan have fought two wars over it and Kashmir itself now has many groups seeking autonomy for the region. Britain hopes to get India to withdraw from Kashmir.
