Arcelor's earnings rise as steelmaker cuts costs

Arcelor S.A. of France posted a 4.5 percent rise in net profit for the third quarter to 657 million Euros ($792.9 million) from 629 million Euros last year. Reasons for the steel makers increase in profit include the low costs of its Latin American interests and recent cost cutting.
