Article Abstract:
Fato Invest (Hradec Kralove, Czech Republic), construction firm, has reconstructed the municipal baths in Hradec Kralove. The reconstruction was started in September 1996 and finished on 10 November 1998. The investment costs on the reconstruction were 143.5 mil Kc. The baths were built at an investment cost of 5 mil Kc in 1932. The baths were very modern and their main attraction was artificial surf. Artificial surf has been saved and has become a functional technical memorable object, which is now a world rarity. The equipment utilises 40% of its output for wave production in the main pool at the baths.
