Arts of seduction
Article Abstract:
Turkey faces problems due to investor caution in relation to emerging markets, and the Turkish economy itself is relatively sound, though inflation is high. Stock prices have dropped and interest rates have risen, and the government has responded by cutting taxes and removing regulations. The Turkish capital market should benefit from these measures, and capital flight may be avoided. Turkey has still been hit by the loss of trade with Russia, which faces a downturn.
